Is the Product Page Leak Detector really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no app to install. Paste any public Shopify product URL and you get an estimated monthly leak and a ready-to-copy fix for each issue in a few seconds.
How do you estimate the money a page is losing?
It is an estimate, not a measurement. We multiply monthly visitors by a conversion rate and your average order value (defaults: 1,000 visitors, an assumed 2% conversion rate and the product's own price — you can change all three), then apply a small, conservative assumed impact for each issue found. Every assumption is listed under "How we estimate this" on the result.
What does the leak detector check?
It checks the product title, description length and structure, SEO title and meta description, image count, image alt text, variant images, FAQ content, Product structured data, price sanity, product type and tags, image file weight and price ending, and, when available, whether the description appears on other sites and whether a similar product is listed cheaper elsewhere.
Can I check a competitor's product page?
Yes. The tool only reads information that every Shopify store already publishes, so you can benchmark any public product page against your own.
Is there still a score?
Yes. Each core check has a fixed weight adding up to 100: a pass earns the full weight, a warning half, a fail nothing. Below 60 is Weak, 60 to 79 is Fair, and 80 or more is Strong. You can share your score as an image.
Do you store my store data?
We keep only public product data from the page (domain, product title, description text, image links, price) and the results so your share link and PDF report work. Results are deleted after 30 days.
